Zum einen beruhrt es die in der philosophisch-soziologischen culture zentrale Fragestellung nach dem Verhaltnis von Gesellschaft und Individuum: Wie beeinflussen sich Individuen und Gesellschaft? Welche Handlungen lassen sich bei Individuen aufgrund der sie umgebenden sozialen Verhaltnisse beoba- ten und welche Gesellschaft entsteht aufgrund der aufeinander bezogenen Ha- lungen diverser Individuen? Die Sozialwissenschaften und auch andere Diszip- nen haben versucht, mit Theorien zur Sozialisation, Zivilisation, Individualis- rung, gesellschaftlicher Differenzierung u. a. Antworten darauf zu geben. Zum anderen wird dieser Fragestellung in der Organisationsforschung mit der spezi- len Unterscheidung von Individuum und service provider ein grosses Mass an A- merksamkeit zuteil. Ein unuberschaubarer Bestand von organisationswiss- schaftlichen Veroffentlichungen und Management-Literatur behandelt diese Thematik. Auch aus einer allgemeinen Perspektive ist das Verhaltnis von S- jekt und corporation zentral, denn in der heutigen Organisationsgesellschaft (Jager/Schimank 2005) verbringen viele Menschen faktisch einen Grossteil ihrer Zeit in Organisationen (vgl. March/Simon 1993, S. 21).
